Two localStorage entries, neither a cookie and neither attached to a request.

• webtools-theme holds light or dark once you choose a theme explicitly, so the page can paint the right colours immediately instead of flashing.
• webtools-consent holds granted or denied once you answer the banner below, so you are not asked again on every page.

To remove either, clear site data in your browser. Selecting the system theme again removes the first; the control at the bottom of this page removes the second.

These third parties may set cookies on this site, and only once you accept:

• Google Analytics, to distinguish visits and count page views.

Consent

A banner asks before anything above loads. That is enforced in the code rather than promised here: every third-party script passes a single gate, and the gate refuses until you have answered - declining, or simply not answering, leaves it refused. Declining leaves the site fully usable, since the tools never needed a cookie or a network request in the first place.

The site also declares Google's Consent Mode to Google Analytics ahead of asking, so it is on record from the first request that nothing is granted by default. Accepting updates that declaration for your visit; nothing is sent before you do.
